HE Lecturer Counselling and Relationship Studies

About the role 

DN Colleges Group are seeking to appoint a Counselling and Relationship Studies Higher Education Lecturer to work across their two campuses: University Campus Doncaster and University Campus North Lincolnshire. The post holder will assume responsibility for teaching and the provision of personal academic support to students across a range of Undergraduate and Masters programmes validated by the University of Hull, depending on qualifications.

What we require from you 

The successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree, but preferably a post-graduate degree, in Relationship Counselling or similar. They must have a broad working knowledge of theories, including Systemic, Psychodynamic, CBT and Human Sexuality. Applicants should have experience in clinical practice, using a range of theoretical interventions, tailored to suit individual clients. They should be qualified and passionate about supporting the development of practitioners who will work with individuals, couples and families in a wide range of settings, and who are either members of BACP, AFT or COSRT, they should also have experience of training or teaching in higher education.

All staff are required to participate fully in the appropriate university subject-based committees and examination boards, liaise with external examiners and implement the quality assurance and enhancement processes effectively. This curriculum area enjoys an excellent relationship with the University of Hull.
