Mechanical Trainer Assessor

North Lindsey College is working in partnership with British Steel, at its Scunthorpe site, to deliver the Company’s apprentice programmes in engineering and technical disciplines.  In order to support the delivery of these apprenticeships the College is looking to recruit a highly motivated, experienced and well qualified Mechanical Trainer Assessor.

The successful candidate should be able to deliver training on a range of subjects including abrasive wheels and mechanical hand skills in both a workshop and classroom environment. You will have bench fitting and preferably machining experience.

You will be responsible for the delivery, assessment and support of learners enrolled on engineering apprenticeship frameworks based at a site in Scunthorpe. The successful applicant will hold suitable vocational qualifications and experience and be committed to providing a high level of customer service to our client and learners. A focus on quality, attention to detail and the provision of inspirational practical learning opportunities will be central to the role.
