Manufacturing Assessor

We have positions for assessors based at British Steel Scunthorpe. 

The post is to conduct work-based assessment and support candidates who are approaching endpoint assessment for the science manufacturing standard level 2 . It is primarily based in Scunthorpe however there may be some involvement with our employers across the provision. 

The successful candidate will be working with our apprentices throughout their apprenticeship you will deliver theory and practical training at the British Steel  site and conducting on site observations for the NVQ2/3 in processing operations or equivalent as well as supporting them with developing their portfolio and preparation for the end point assessment. 

A good knowledge of Mechanical Engineering from any engineering discipline.  

The successful applicant will work with teams from both our main operation sites.
