working hours to start from 8.30am. 18 hour position is fixed term until July 2023

We are seeking pro-active and well-organised individuals to fill these rewarding roles, based within the College’s School of Sport, Travel and Uniformed Services at Uxbridge Campus.  You would work closely with students, their parents, Lecturers and other College staff, working in a proactive way to ensure students attend College regularly and achieve their learning goals.  

Main responsibilities include identifying and acting immediately on problems relating to student attendance, punctuality and progress to ensure that students maintain an excellent attendance record.  You would take a pro-active role, including engaging ‘at risk’ learners in person and over the telephone.  You would also maintain student attendance databases, produce reports on different groups, discuss students’ progress with teaching staff and arrange student disciplinary meetings regarding attendance.

You will need to possess good organisational and administrative skills, good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and be confident using databases/systems.  You should have good written and verbal communication skills, be pro-active and have a confident telephone manner.  Experience of working with young people in an educational environment would be an advantage.
