Location: Deeside
Due to retirement an opportunity has arisen for a forward-looking and proactive individual to join our senior management team. The Library Services & Academic Skills Manager will lead and manage the Libraries and Academic Skills Teams across all college sites creating a proactive and supportive learning environment.
You will lead our teams in developing and embedding study skills strategies for supporting learner success and attainment, providing and developing digital content to support curriculum delivery and independent learning.
We are looking for a candidate who has proven experience of working with students, staff and other groups, including leading on key initiatives. A demonstrable understanding of the future of academic libraries and a creative and flexible approach to service provision and development are essential. Knowledge of curriculum /learning programmes and learning content to support delivery combined with experience of IT platforms and digital content to enhance engagement, participation and support successful learner outcomes is essential.
The successful candidate will have a collaborative approach and also possess an ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels within the College.
