We would welcome applications from ECT Science Specialist but would also consider a well-qualified Sports Science graduate in PE who has the ability to teach Key Stage 3 Science.
The Link Academy is a good school (Ofsted 2022) with high expectations for everyone. With values of dreaming big, rewarding effort, leading together, respecting each other and learning that inspires running through all aspects of school life.
We have a strong emphasis on Mathematics skills as the foundation for academic success, and introduced teaching methods focused on encouraging communication, getting every learner in a classroom to join in with the lesson, helping the learners to solve problems in teams and to learn from each other.
The Values Driven Expectations behaviour management model ensures that all learners are well focussed and that there is no low level disruption in lessons; this allows you to concentrate on leading high quality teaching to inspire your learners. Cutting edge data management processes also mean that key data is provided from the centre for you, freeing up your time to act on key information to accelerate learners’ progress.
