WHAT WE DO
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has a strong record of accomplishment and can work as part of a Business Engagement Team to rapidly grow Apprenticeship/Work-Based, Full-Cost and Commercial provision across key LEP priority areas at Leeds City College.
The successful candidate must be solutions-focussed, target-driven and have experience at developing strong employer relations. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing new business leads, apprenticeship sales and working effectively with existing and prospective employers to quickly grow our work-based portfolio and business areas. Candidates must therefore be able to demonstrate a strong ability to market and sell apprenticeship opportunities and services, have lots of energy, a natural can-do attitude and be confident in negotiating and writing apprenticeship contracts. It is envisaged that this position will initially be aligned to sourcing business opportunities in our Sports, Science, Employability and Childcare departments but this may alter over time.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- To meet recruitment/sales targets and expand business in response to strategic priorities.
- To liaise with delivery staff to ensure a highly successful employer experience, maintaining latest industry knowledge within own areas.
- Managing allocated accounts creating a calendar of touch points and account visits. S
- trong time management and organisation skills to ensure multiple priorities are being worked towards and KPI's are met.
- To account manage and undertake training needs analysis and solution implementation with employers to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Uses employer links to generate work experience pipeline for work experience co-coordinators to convert.
- To be responsible for undertaking sales, business development and marketing activities, including employer visits.
YOUR PROFILE
As a Business Engagement Advisor you will be responsible for providing an end to end service for existing and new employer partners. The Business Engagement Advisor will forge strong relationships with employers via personalised account management maximising opportunities and income streams. As a Business Engagement Advisor you will identify and engage further customers, who have the potential to become key accounts, ensuring that all negotiated sales targets are achieved, maximise levels of repeat business, identify new opportunities for sales and business development and work effectively as part of the overall Business Engagement team.
