Arts University Plymouth is proud to be offering the successful candidate an exciting opportunity to coordinate activities funded through Research England Knowledge Exchange Funding for Smaller Providers. This is the first time this funding has been awarded and Arts University Plymouth are excited to ensure that it has both immediate impact and that it sets the foundations for future Knowledge Exchange activity within the University.
The role is offered as 1.0FTE or can be offered on a job share of 2 x 0.6FTE; it is expected that successful applicants will be available for team meetings which are currently on Tuesdays.

The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for coordinating the effective delivery of short term projects and will contribute to activities that are the basis of longer term projects and strategic initiatives. They will be accountable for ensuring that the projects meet tight deadlines, achieve their pre-agreed KPIs, and collating information needed for reporting. The successful candidate will take positive steps to ensure high quality, innovative outcomes are achieved with both immediate and longer term impact potential.
About you
The successful candidate will be a skilled Project Coordinator with experience of working with external partnerships and with multiple stakeholders. Communication skills are central to this role and the Coordinator will need to work on their own initiative as well as collaboratively with internal colleagues and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of project management and activity delivery and will be able to work to fixed deadlines. They will have a good understanding of reporting and output requirements. Given the nature of the project activities, experience of working in Knowledge Exchange and/or an HEI is desirable.
