Luminate Education Group are one of the largest and most dynamic education groups in the country. We are looking to appoint an exceptional senior leader into the role of Director of Inclusive Provision and SEND.

The successful candidate must have current strategic experience and understanding of inclusive/alternative provision ideally at pre-16. As a group we are deeply committed to providing education for learners for whom educational opportunity is limited; our commitment to restorative practice and inclusion are evident in all our practise and the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate these qualities.

A sound strategic understanding of High Needs funding is required, as is a demonstrable track record of working collaboratively with Local Authorities in planning places. Working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders is an essential aspect of this role as we aim to build and develop a consistent approach in supporting vulnerable learners achieve and progress.

Given the broad reach of this role we would also be interested in applicants looking to job share.

All successful applicants will be required to complete all the mandatory pre-employment checks, which includes:

  • Proof of right to work in the UK

  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) check

  • Children’s barred list check (we may also check the adult barred list if the role involves working with vulnerable adults)

  • Two professional references 

  • Fitness to work; this is conducted by our Occupational Health Provider

  • Section 128 check for all staff entering management roles

  • Prohibition check for all staff entering teaching related roles
