Elite Sport Lecturer

(FTC - 12 MONTHS)

Loughborough College Elite Sport is a highly successful department with over 2,000 learners.  The team offers a wide range of provision from Level 1 up to Level 3, that includes BTEC courses and employment focused study programmes. 

We are seeking to appoint a full time Lecturer to teach within our Elite Sport department.  A relevant degree and teaching qualification are essential and you must have extensive teaching and vocational experience in further education, along with experience of elite sport.

The successful candidate will deliver inspiring teaching and learning to ensure all students are supported to succeed through the delivery of high quality and challenging learning experiences. Progress will be monitored to ensure target grades are met and all learners achieve to the best of their ability. 

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and organisational skills and work effectively in a large cross-curricular team. You will possess excellent planning and administration skills and be able to work to deadlines. The role will include offsite working and so an up to date/valid driver’s licence is essential, access to a vehicle is desirable.  A knowledge of a range of teaching methodologies is essential.
