WHAT WE DO

The Innovation and Development team works across the Luminate Education Group, together with colleagues and sometimes external stakeholders we work on developing and coordinating projects from conception to finish.

Many of our projects are part of the corporate social responsibility agenda, or developed to answer a need that sits outside of traditional education or training as we know it. We work on sourcing funding, writing bids, developing projects, generating leads for projects, connecting teams, communicating good practice or news and networking across the group and region. 

There is a variety of project work across the group that aligns to local and strategic visions to increase our corporate social responsibility and enhance lives across the region, most importantly this role will be a key in driving continuous improvement, cohesion and collaboration across the group, through partnerships work and centralising information to connect people and skills.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • You will coordinate projects and events, associated with the implementation of a Group wide approach to Corporate Social Responsibility.
  • You will help create opportunities for staff to ‘make a difference’ outside of their job roles and support the social mobility agenda and associated strategic priorities.
  • You will develop and be involved in a variety of project implementation, monitoring and evaluation within the role, and the expectation to help drive cohesion and collaboration across the group, utilising creative outlets.

YOUR PROFILE

  • We are looking for passionate individual with an interest designing and coordinating effective and impactful CSR engagement activities.
  • An individual with the ability and interest in designing and coordinating initiatives and projects with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Creating opportunities in line with CSR priorities, to include negotiating with suppliers and ensuring all deliverables are met and all communication with stakeholders is undertaken effectively.
  • Capable of collecting and collating statistical information, support focus groups and undertake research in relation to the CSR agenda across the sector, locally, regionally, nationally and globally.
  • Present findings to management, in order to drive continuous improvements and innovative thinking. Coordinating and compiling reports.

  • Children’s barred list check (we may also check the adult barred list if the role involves working with vulnerable adults)

  • Two professional references 

  • Fitness to work; this is conducted by our Occupational Health Provider

  • Section 128 check for all staff entering management roles

  • Prohibition check for all staff entering teaching related roles
