Arts University Plymouth (previously Plymouth College of Art) is seeking to appoint a 0.8 Academic Skills Leader, this post will include teaching proportion up to a 0.4 FTE. 

This role will lead the College's Academic Skills provision which includes GCSE (English and Maths) and Functional Skills Maths.  As well as managing the pastoral needs for the students on the course. The successful applicant will also have a key strategic voice in developing the University’s embedded skills programme.

Pre-Degree in Arts University Plymouth is a dynamic, creative and holistic learning environment.  As an independent university with a dedicated Pre-Degree campus for 16 to 19-year-olds, Arts University Plymouth is a significant provider for the arts in the South West of the UK. The College consistently exceeds national benchmarks for vocational education & English and Maths GCSEs.
