Are you a professional, organised and self-motivated individual who enjoys working with a broad range of people?

Due to continued growth in our apprenticeships we are looking for a proactive person to co-ordinate and grow the college’s new Apprenticeship Talent Bank Service.

Working within the college’s Business Services team and reporting directly to the Head of Business Services you will play a key role in the continuous development of the Talent Bank Service. This will be an incredibly varied role, whether supporting candidates to register with the service, sign posting to suitable apprenticeship opportunities, promoting the services at external events or on social media or supporting candidates through the recruitment process to the point of enrolment, you will be integral to the college's ambitious plans for growth.

Your strength will be in relationship building and in managing the candidate pipeline whilst demonstrating a friendly yet professional approach to your work. You will be confident in speaking with people over the phone and face to face, whether individually or in groups.

Previous experience working within a resourcing role or for a recruitment agency would be an advantage but not essential for the post.

You will be skilled at communicating to a broad audience, a creative thinker and a confident IT user, whether presenting online or writing engaging copy for social media or supporting with applications. Comfortable working to deadlines while managing a varied workload, you'll have an excellent eye for detail and a creative flair that will allow you to proactively promote the service to potential applicants.

As well as a competitive salary, you can also look forward to a great range of benefits including 26 days holiday plus bank holidays (as well as up to 5 efficiency closure days at Christmas), membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme (currently set at a contribution of 18.9% of annual salary), Employee Assistant Programme, staff discounts on Plumpton Estate products or at One Garden Brighton, and the opportunity to engage with a broad range of continued professional development courses.

With over 3,000 students, excellent resources and a drive for continuous improvement, Plumpton College is actively seeking staff who want to make a difference and be part of this exciting phase of our development. At Plumpton College we are Ambitious & Progressive, Enterprising, Professional, Supportive and Passionate about everything we do – if you share these values and would like to be part of our growing team then we’d like to hear from you!
