ESF Skills Tutor

Contract: Fixed Term Contract until December 2023 (Full-time/Part-time)

We are looking for an outstanding Skills Tutor to join the rapidly expanding Employer Services Projects Team at Nottingham College.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about developing and delivering quality teaching to our employed adult learners enrolled on our employer responsive courses (through the European Social Fund). This is a fundamental role that supports employees from local SME’s to up-skill them with relevant training to ultimately improve their labour market status and progress onto higher level skills.

In this role you will be required to teach, assess students and have a good working knowledge of all levels of Leadership and Management to be able to plan and deliver training sessions.

You will be required to participate in quality assurance procedures including assessment and internal verification (IQA) of students work to enable you to provide well-rounded feedback and meet the requirements of the funding body and college’s internal compliance and quality processes.

This post will also help support learners from under-represented groups (Women, ethnic minority groups and disability learners) to help ensure we are removing any barriers they may have to training and to ensure they are getting the same opportunities to personal development as their peers.
