Assessor in Carpentry & Joinery

Pembrokeshire College is currently seeking to appoint an Assessor to work with candidates in their workplace to enable them to gain their carpentry and joinery qualifications.  This role provides an excellent opportunity for industry professionals to pass on their skills and expertise to our future generation of carpenters by assessing learners work in the workplace. 

Salary Details:  £26,827 - £29,808 BAR £30,808 - £33,706 pro rata 

This is an 8 point extended scale with progression incrementally on an annual basis.  Please note, progression beyond the bar is dependent on an internal set of conditions.  Commencing salaries will be assessed in accordance with the College’s starting salaries matrix.

Hours of Work:   37 hours per week (for both positions)

Holiday Entitlement:  
28 days (increasing to 32 days on completion of 5 years service) plus statutory bank holidays & College efficiency closures days.
