Advanced Practitioner, SEND & Inclusion (LUM83)

WHAT WE DO

This is an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Practitioner (SEND & Inclusion) to support our journey to outstanding at Keighley, Harrogate and Leeds City College. The Teaching, Learning and Assessment (TLA) teamwork across the colleges with the purpose of driving continuous improvement with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.

A typical day as an Advanced Practitioner could include; mentoring/coaching, completing short lesson visits, leading training and development in a department and planning quality improvement with curriculum teams. The AP role is often a springboard into leadership and management due to the scale and the impact that the role has. Each day is varied so if you're looking for a new challenge in a role that spans 31 curriculum departments then this is the role for you!

You will be an excellent teacher with a proven record of ‘good or better' teaching, learning and assessment practice. You will have a confident and empathic approach and be the type of person who is really organised, proactive and enthusiastic in working with colleagues to drive continuous improvement.

• Fitness to work; this is conducted by our Occupational Health Provider

• Section 128 check for all staff entering management roles

• Prohibition check for all staff entering teaching related roles
