We are seeking a Brand & Digital Marketing Manager to drive our digital spend and marketing strategy and to support and develop our ambitious brand, recruitment and growth targets nationally and internationally.
Our ideal candidate will have a curious and analytical mind, experience within digital marketing, a love of problem solving and the ability to confidently interpret and share data with colleagues and from a range of sources to positively influence and drive forward our brand strategy and targets.
You’ll be great at seeking out, evaluating and presenting numerous types of complex data in a meaningful and engaging way. Understanding our market position and keeping an eye on our competitors will be an important part of the role, as well as understanding trends and opportunities in the creative and education sectors. However, we don’t need you to be an expert in, or even have prior experience of working specifically with education data.
You’ll be great at trialling new digital marketing ideas, and proactively driving a “test and learn” process across our PPC channels. You’ll need a deep understanding of the mobile ecosystem, attribution, tracking and data analysis, demonstrable experience in a busy digital marketing environment and commercial acumen to ensure our targets are met. You’ll be able to demonstrate the ability to analyse data into actionable insights to inform our strategy and our future activities.
Who and why now
We are looking to replace a valued staff member who joined us with a Degree in Marketing, an inquisitive mind and early career experience in campaign development and insights for two commercial brands. We’d love to find someone who will join our friendly, driven and creative team of marketeers, events and content staff, who is equally keen to collaborate, innovate and try new ways to reach our audiences and to help us achieve our college targets for student success and growth.
The college
We’re redefining what you can expect from a modern art college. We’re a small, incredibly busy, welcoming community. Innovative, creative and defiantly passionate about arts in all forms. Our networks reach way beyond the campus and so will yours. We link education and industry, arts and the community, so you can form the connections that will support a life-long career.
Plymouth College of Art does not accept CVs in place of application forms.
Closing Date: Monday 6 June 2022 (9am)
It is anticipated that the interviews will take place on: Wednesday 15 June 2022
If you have questions about the role or your suitability after reading the person specification and role profile please email brand@pca.ac.uk and we will try to get back to you promptly.
Location: We anticipate this role would be mostly campus-based with some homeworking possible. We could consider a more hybrid model for candidates with exceptional experience, however, some regular attendance will be vital to understand our brand, drive content creation for campaigns and work effectively with our staff across the college. Please note that expenses for travelling regularly to the college are not offered in addition to the advertised salary.
Plymouth College of Art has a strong commitment to the safeguarding & welfare of young people & vulnerable adults. A satisfactory DBS disclosure at Enhanced Level will be required from successful candidates as a condition of appointment.
We celebrate equality, diversity and difference, and welcome candidates from all communities.
