Employability Trainers

(Full-time and Part-time Opportunities Available)

The Employability Team at Pembrokeshire College delivers a range of support for both young people, and unemployed adults in Pembrokeshire.  Currently there are two opportunities available for Employability Trainers to join the team on a fixed term basis to cover a period of maternity and long-term absence.

Salary Details:
£23,994- £25,981 BAR  £26,827-£29,295 pro rata (equivalent to £12.47 -£13.50 BAR £13.94 - £15.49 per hour)

Contract Type:      Fixed-term (for up to 1 year)

Working Hours:
Both full-time (37 hours per week) and part-time hours available.

Candidates will be required to stipulate whether they are interested in  full-time or part-time hours.  For candidates interested in part-time hours only, please indicate the number of hours you are available on your application form.

Holiday Entitlement:
28 days per annum (increasing to 32 days for 5 years + service) plus statutory bank holidays & college efficiency closures

Qualifications:   
You will be educated to a minimum level 3 and ideally hold a relevant  teaching or delivery/training related qualification such as, AET (formerly PTLLS). It is also essential to be highly proficient with the use of the Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience: 
It is essential to have experience of delivering/presenting to a group of people.  Previous experience of teaching /training would be highly advantageous.

Hawl Gwyliau:  
8 diwrnod y flwyddyn (yn cynyddu i 32 diwrnod am 5 mlynedd + o wasanaeth) ynghyd â gwyliau banc statudol a diwrnodau cau’r coleg er effeithlonrwydd.

Cymwysterau:  
Byddwch wedi eich addysgu hyd at lefel 3 o leiaf ac yn ddelfrydol, bydd gennych gymhwyster perthnasol sy'n gysylltiedig â dysgu neu gyflwyno/hyfforddi fel AET (PTLLS gynt). Mae angen bod yn hyfedr iawn wrth ddefnyddio cymwysiadau Microsoft Office hefyd.

Mae'n hanfodol bod â phrofiad o gyflwyno i grŵp o bobl. Byddai profiad blaenorol o ddysgu/hyfforddi yn hynod fanteisiol.
