0.8 Senior Lecturer Creative Discovery

About the role:

Chelsea Centre for the Creative Industries is looking to appoint a Senior Tutor in Creative Discovery to join our specialist centre.     

Our Creative Discovery programmes are based on broad diagnostic exploration of creative practice across Art, Design and Media pathways.  

This role will be based within our Art school to support the delivery our 16-18 and 19+  programmes, particularly our successful Foundation Diploma Art Pathway, and support the wider departments including Fine Art.  

You will have experience in broad Art and Design and Fine Art delivery, that encompasses a range of methods of production (2D, 3D & 4D) and a range of practical, theory and digital skills to support creative learning.  You will have confidence in how to ensure a high-quality learning experience for students in a primarily 16-18 context, and inspire students to be ambitious, individual and ethically reflective creatives.   

A continued professional practice in a Fine Art context, with good links to external collaborators within the community is desirable.
