We are looking for an experienced, qualified, highly committed and motivated individual to teach and assess learners within the Health and Care Access to Higher Education programmes. Successful candidates should possess a relevant degree, have a thorough knowledge of their specialist subject field and ideally a recognised teaching qualification. 

You will develop and employ a variety of learning strategies, including the use of ILT, to ensure excellence in teaching and learning and the achievement of course targets for retention and attainment. 

As a confident communicator, with enthusiasm and an innovative approach, you will have the ability to motivate and inspire students to create a positive learning environment leading to an outstanding learner experience. Possessing excellent organisation and problem solving skills you will adopt a flexible approach to working patterns during the daytime and evening.

Applications may be submitted in Welsh and will be treated no less favourably than applications submitted in English.  Gower College Swansea recognises the importance of delivering its services in Welsh and recognises the need to grow its bilingual workforce.  We therefore encourage applications from candidates who can demonstrate good Welsh Language skills
