Programme Administrator

Based at the Greater Birmingham & Solihull Institute of Technology Hub located on Aston University Campus. 

Fixed term to 31st July 2024

26 hours per week 

The government has established high-quality Institutes of Technology (IoTs) to provide employers with a skilled workforce and students with a clear route to technical employment. The Greater Birmingham & Solihull IoT (GBSIoT) specialises in Engineering and Manufacturing and is a consortium led by Solihull College & University Centre, Aston University and Birmingham City University, working alongside South and City College Birmingham as a core partner and supported by BMET College, University College Birmingham and the University of Birmingham. GBSIoT designs, develops and broadens education and training opportunities and responds to the skills needs of our regional employers.  

We wish to recruit an experienced GBSIoT Administrator to support with the coordination and organisation of the broad range of GBSIoT partnership activities and relationships between the GBSIoT partners, employers and stakeholders. 

Experience of working in a fast paced and customer focussed environment will be important as will high levels of organisation and initiative with the ability to establish and monitor effective reporting processes; experience of producing accurate reports will be important.    

This is a part time role working 26 hours per week. We offer a flexible approach to the working pattern for this role and this will be discussed at interview.
