We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to lead the College in its delivery of the Welsh Language Standards.  The successful candidate will drive and support the Welsh language skills of staff to embed bilingualism and lead the implementation of bilingualism opportunities for Work Base Learners and programmes.  

Educated to Degree level you will ideally hold a recognised Teaching Qualification and have experience of promoting Welsh Language/Bilingual services across a public sector body. With excellent bilingual communication skills, you will be familiar with Welsh language issues and demonstrate an enthusiasm for the Welsh Language agenda. 

Applications may be submitted in Welsh and will be treated no less favourably than applications submitted in English.  Gower College Swansea recognises the importance of delivering its services in Welsh and recognises the need to grow its bilingual workforce.  We therefore encourage applications from candidates who can demonstrate good Welsh Language skills.

Appointments will normally be made to the bottom of the salary scale with annual increments on 1st August each year (subject to completing 6 months service).
