Inclusion Services Manager

Pembrokeshire College has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Specialist  Manager to join a college that puts learning, teaching and student success first.  Would you like to lead a large friendly, professional and committed team who make a real difference to learners?  Do you have a passion for supporting and developing others- particularly those who have faced challenges in life or have learning difficulties or disabilities?  Do you have high expectations in terms of learner aspiration and standards of behaviour?  If the answer is yes to all of the above, we are looking to recruit a experienced individual to manage  a team of dedicated Learning Support staff and the College’s Inclusion Support Service.

Salary Details:     
£34,674—£37,386 per annum

This is a 4 point incremental scale with progression to each point on an annual basis.  Commencing salaries will be assessed in accordance with the College’s starting salaries matrix.

Hours of Work:     Full Time– 37 hours per week

Contract Type:      Salaried.  Permanent

Holiday Entitlement:      
37 days per annum, plus statutory bank holidays & college efficiency closures

Qualifications:     
A relevant professional qualification at minimum level 5 is essential.

As well as an accredited teaching qualification– post 16.  If not held, the  College will support you in achieving this within an agreed timescale. 

Experience:
You will have knowledge and extensive experience of working with learners with Additional Learning Needs and specific learning difficulties and disabilities.  You will also have expertise in all areas of equality legislation, ideally with experience of managing and training staff in this area and providing expert advice within an organisational context.
