We are looking for an outstanding candidate to support the management team in driving the attendance strategy.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Monitor attendance daily
  • Interpret statistical data to identify issues/patterns of non-attendance with individual students
  • Analyse and identify student absences and take appropriate action to support students back into college
  • Work with family members and outside agencies to promote and raise attendance with identified students
  • Accurately input absences, including reasons for absences, onto Promonitor
  • Support the pastoral team with safeguarding

YOUR PROFILE 

  • Be a confident, determined, and caring person
  • Experience using Promonitor
  • Have a positive and flexible approach to work
  • Experience of working with young people and their parents or carers
  • Be able to build rapport and engage with young people and family members

  • Children’s barred list check (we may also check the adult barred list if the role involves working with vulnerable adults)

  • Two professional references 

  • Fitness to work; this is conducted by our Occupational Health Provider

  • Section 128 check for all staff entering management roles

  • Prohibition check for all staff entering teaching related roles

Please Note: All successful applicants who have lived or travelled overseas for three months or more in the past five years will be required to undertake an overseas check as part of the pre-employment checks.
