We need a confident Director of Strategic Partnerships and External Relationships to help us drive forward our exciting plans. We want someone who can match our ambition, pace and energy. A commercially driven thinker, who can translate policy into action and someone who thrives on working in a demanding and dynamic organisation is the ideal candidate.
You will be responsible for leading on our strategic work with the Local Skills Improvement Plan and its relationship to our curriculum. You will be accountable for ensuring our industry placement targets are met and for growing the College relationships with key stakeholders. Ensuring our curriculum is explicitly informed by skills needs is a key focus of the role.
The College has recently announced its role in the global NFL Academy, as well as being part of an Institute of Technology regional collaboration. We care deeply about our students and are seeking to add this new role to our highly dedicated and high performing Executive team.
We are a financially robust, £38m-turnover organisation with inclusive values and a supportive culture, which means we invest in our people to deliver excellence for around 10,000 learners.
The successful candidate will have a degree, project management qualification and previous experience of successfully leading a business development/commercial function and further education. You will also require excellent communication skills as speaking at events on weekend and evenings is required.
Alongside our commitment to your professional and personal development, we also offer a generous benefits package and a range of family friendly, inclusive employment policies, flexible working arrangements, agile working, and support services to support with mental health and wellbeing for staff from different backgrounds.
