Safeguarding and Wellbeing Officer

27.5 hours per week

We are seeking a Safeguarding and Wellbeing Officer to support students disclosing abuse or mental health issues and make appropriate referrals to internal and external agencies are required. The post will be primarily based at our Blossomfield Campus, and the post holder will ideally work from 10am through to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

The post holder will also support the Caring Services Manager to determine whether external referrals are needed, and plan support for students requiring interventions.

You will have a good general education with a Level 2 qualification in Safeguarding, a proven track record of working in a post 16 educational environment and a strong knowledge of current welfare issues. Experience of working in a Safeguarding role is essential.
