This is an exciting opportunity to inspire young people who are looking to develop careers in the IT industry. HCUC (Harrow College and Uxbridge College) is the largest college provider of apprenticeships in West London. Our new Technical Apprenticeship School focuses on maximising our links and opportunities with employers in key sectors, including digital. We are seeking a full time Lecturer to join our dynamic and energetic team, specialising in Cyber Security, to teach apprentices from Level 3 to Level 5 in CyberSecurity and Computer Networking.
You will possess a degree in networking/cybersecurity with Certification in either CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft Cloud Fundamentals. You will need to have knowledge and experience of at least five of the following areas: Internet of Things; Big Data; Virtualisation; Cryptography; BlockChain; TCP/IP and other network protocols; CISCO CCNA; CompTIA Network+; CompTIA Security+; Cloud Technologies. You will be passionate about your subject and engage effectively with young people. We will support you financially in full to obtain the Diploma in Education and Training qualification over the two year period of the course.
