Adventure Education, Sport and Equine’ is a key curriculum offering at Plumpton College and this role as Curriculum Manager is an exciting opportunity to shape and further develop our provision to meet the needs of our growing student population. Reporting to the Vice Principal (Curriculum and Quality), you will lead a dedicated team delivering the best possible experience to students through consistently good and outstanding teaching standards and services. You will ensure our students make positive progress towards their timely success, future study and employment. This role combines operational management, and an opportunity to adopt innovative approaches to developing and delivering our curriculum and working with the equine, adventure education and sport sectors.

Delivering a range of programmes from Level 1 to degree courses, the ideal candidate will have previous experience of managing a dynamic and motivated team, and have extensive specialist knowledge along with relevant professional and teaching qualifications. The successful applicant will be an inspiring leader with a sound understanding of budget management. Utilising the excellent equine management facilities, you will also oversee the College’s working equine yard and work with our yard manager to set out a visionary plan for its future development and investment.

Candidates should have a degree or equivalent, and demonstrable experience of overseeing successful educational programmes. A self-starter, you will be confident to take the initiative, as well as possessing effective people management skills, reflected in a track record of managing high performance in teams.
