We have an exciting opportunity for a Skills Solutions Consultant to join us, acting as an ambassador for training and skills and the impact this makes to businesses, the economy and individuals occupation opportunities. We currently have two opportunities, a fixed term maternity cover and a permanent position.

The Role

Providing employers with outstanding service, being their trusted adviser in respect of their learning and development plans, you’ll show a keen awareness of labour marketing information and the local needs of the economy, whilst contributing to planning of the work-based products and educational offer. Working as integral part of the team you will consistently achieve and overreach challenging income targets

  • To develop new business with employers by supporting them to assess their training needs.
  • Be a proponent of apprenticeships, training and education to support individuals’ professional development.
  • Interview and recruit high quality candidates to match workforce needs identified within apprenticeship job descriptions.
  • To achieve highly stretching income targets.

About You

Candidates will hold a Level 2 in English and Maths, or equivalent, with proven knowledge in the field of business development in the education sector. With experience in all aspects of business development activity, including employer engagement, training needs assessments, sales marketing campaigns and recruitment, you will have proven success in meeting and exceeding challenging targets and KPIs.

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) along with strong customer service experience are a must along with the ability to articulate complex scenarios concisely and effectively, influencing as where required.
