Electrical Lecturer / Lead IV
The Electrical Tutor & Lead IV role is part of the Resource and Planning Support function within the Engineering Dept, with responsibility for Teaching primarily L3 students scheduling operational delivery of course content. The role also encompasses effective implementation of Quality Assurance policies and procedures, acting as a Lead IV and Quality Planning Co-ordinator for the N16 Engineering Dept. You will liaise with external verifiers and implement quality assurance processes to ensure DN Colleges policies and procedures are effectively adhered to.
The Tutor and Lead IV will also lead programme review and development within the subject. This includes coordinating the production of initial validation documents and the periodic review of all student documentation relating to the programme(s).
The postholder will demonstrate a proactive approach to engaging with employers e.g ECITB & Siemens, programme delivery and management, and administration associated with the post contributing towards achievement of targets for FE students, Scholarships and Apprenticeships and Skills Development.
