We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated member of staff to work with us as a Supported Education Lecturer on a supply basis.

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a suitably skilled and qualified Lecturer to deliver on our Supported Education programmes from SCQF level 1- SCQF level 4.

Your key role is to work as part of the team to deliver content of these programmes, with the ability to deliver a range of personal development and life skills to encourage our students with mild to complex learning disabilities to increase their confidence and promote independence in their daily lives.

Our programmes are delivered on site at our Inverness Campus and through the Brightspace online learning platform.  Classes are currently scheduled between 9am and 4pm Mondays to Fridays.

Essential Criteria:

  • A relevant degree or professional qualification
  • Experience of working with young people and adults with learning disabilities

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous experience in teaching / training young people with learning disabilities in an education setting

Please note: the successful post holder will need to pass a satisfactory PVG Scheme check through Disclosure Scotland prior to commencing employment.
