Workshop Assistant (Technician)

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join the College’s Construction Team as a Workshop Assistant, supporting the Brickwork Department with mixing mortar, organisation and issuing of tools and keeping the workshops organised and clean.

Salary Details:    
£18,666 - £21,189 pro rata
Equivalent to £9.70 - £11.01 per hour
This is a 4 point incremental scale with progression to each point on an annual basis. Commencing salaries will be assessed in accordance with the College’s starting salaries matrix.

Hours of Work:     37 hours per week (full-time)

Contract Type:    Salaried - Permanent

Holiday Entitlement:
28 days Annual Leave (increasing to 32 days on completion of  5 years service). Plus 8 Bank Holidays & College closure days per annum
