Lecturer in Biology
Uxbridge College’s Sixth Form combines the expectations and culture of a sixth form college within a Further Education setting. Our focus is primarily on the delivery of level 3 academic programmes (AS and A level) to 16 to 19 year old students, and we have a strong track record of results, with many of our courses and high grade rates significantly above sector average.
We are seeking to appoint a full time Lecturer to teach Science across A Level, BTEC and GCSE programmes, specialising in Biology.
You will need to hold a degree in a Science subject and have experience of teaching Biology up to Level 3. If you do not currently possess an advanced level teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent), we will fund and support you to obtain this over the two year period of the course.
The College has recently introduced a Working from Home policy. You may be able to work a proportion of your work time from home. Working from Home may be possible where this does not adversely impact on the operational needs of the College.
