We require a well organised, flexible and proactive individual to provide comprehensive administrative support to the School of ESOL, English and Maths, based at Harrow College.
You will undertake a wide range of administrative responsibilities including producing correspondence and reports, diary management and communicating effectively with students, staff and parents. You will also actively improve student attendance by identifying and acting immediately on problems relating to student attendance, punctuality and progress. You will engage ‘at risk’ learners in person and over the telephone, monitor and maintain student records.
You will have a minimum of 2 years’ administrative experience, preferably gained in the education sector. You should also have excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills, and will have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and experience of using IT systems/databases. You will be a good team player, able to work flexibly and on your own initiative in a fast-paced environment.
The College has recently introduced a Working from Home policy. You may be able to work a proportion of your work time from home. Working from Home may be possible where this does not adversely impact on the operational needs of the College.
