We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team to be responsible for the end-to-end project delivery.

The Role

Leading the delivery of projects, (minor works, asset replacements, repairs, refurbishment and logistics) you will ensure all legal and contractual regulatory requirements are fulfilled, risks and mitigations are identified, ensuring appropriate coordination within the college, whilst obtaining all statutory approvals.

Providing technical advice to the central team and Facilities Managers, you will review contractor pre-qualification questionnaire responses, maintaining our approved contractor list, whilst contributing to the strategic direction and operational effectiveness of the College.

About You

Educated to degree or equivalent in a relevant construction relation subject, you will hold a current membership or relevant construction professional body e.g. RICS, CIBSE, RIBA and ideally a formal qualification in construction project / programme management.

With previous FE/HE sector knowledge, you will have experience with preparing project briefs, effectively planning and managing major and complex capital building projects, within agreed budget and programme. Above all you will have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) along with strong customer service experience are a must as you will be responsible for collaborating across the department and College sites.
