Hourly Paid Lecturer in Health and Social Care

Please note, this an hourly paid contract which means that specific days and hours cannot be guaranteed - they are offered on a casual, ad hoc basis to fit the needs of the service and so may vary.

Unqualified: £21,135 - £24,943 per annum (pro rata, hourly paid)

Qualified: £26,910 - £41,597 per annum (pro rata, hourly paid)

We have an exciting opportunity to join our passionate and enthusiastic Health and Social Care team at Bridgend College. You will plan, develop, evaluate and deliver the new curriculum content on our Health and Social Care curriculum provision, to guide students at all levels, in their academic journey from participating in the recruitment, to working with them through their studies to completion.

You should have recent relevant industry experience within the Health and Social Care sector, a clear understanding of FE and HE education together with a PGCE Certificate, or be prepared to obtain this. You will have a proven record of teaching and delivering on a range of levels, along with developing and organising work-related materials. With excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to a wide and diverse student population you will be passionate about motivating all learners and be willing to support the Department’s commitment to developing the use of the Welsh language.
