Hourly Paid Lecturer in Childhood Studies

We have an exciting opportunity to join our passionate and enthusiastic Childcare team at Bridgend College. You will plan, develop, evaluate and deliver the new curriculum content on our Childcare curriculum provision, to guide students across all levels, in their academic journey from participating in the recruitment, to working with them through their studies to completion.

You should have recent relevant industry experience within the Childcare sector, a clear understanding of FE and HE education together with a PGCE Certificate, or be prepared to obtain this. You will have a proven record of teaching and delivering on a range of levels, along with developing and organising work-related materials. With excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to a wide and diverse student population you will be passionate about motivating all learners and be willing to support the Department’s commitment to developing the use of the Welsh language.
