Business Development Consultant

Harrow and Uxbridge Colleges are seeking a Business Development Consultant to join our cross College group team to build and enhance the growth of training, skills and apprenticeship provision in west London.    This post is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, customer-focused individual to play a key role in the growth of our work with local employers, with a particular focus on apprenticeship provision.

This role is integral to the growth of Harrow and Uxbridge College’s work with local employers.  You would work across a range of different industries within our vocational areas in order to develop business relationships and to advise on and sell training solutions to small, medium and large employers, and will also promote HCUC’s Institute of Technology (IoT) offer, including T levels.

You should be an enthusiastic and highly motivated sales person with a proven track record in developing new business, and will need to possess strong administrative skills in order to monitor your progress against sales targets.  You should have a good track record in providing training solutions and have an understanding of how Further Education can provide a service to employers, and a good understanding of apprenticeship funding rules.  You will need a full, clean driving licence and the use of your own personal transport as this post will involve travelling in the West London area.  

The College has recently introduced a Working from Home policy. You may be able to work a proportion of your work time from home. Working from Home may be possible where this does not adversely impact on the operational needs of the College.
