This role is an exciting opportunity for an organised and enthusiastic individual seeking the next step in their career. Reporting to the Engineering Apprenticeship Standards Manager, you will be responsible for driving forward the quality of Mechanical and Electrical / Electronic Engineering Work Based Learning within the Technical Apprenticeship School (TAS). You will teach across a range of programmes according to your specialism and will be responsible for the effective curriculum management of a range of apprenticeship programmes in School.
You will possess an HND in either Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related area, and have 2 years’ teaching or assessing experience in the relevant subject area. You will also have good knowledge of apprentice/learner pathways into Standards and a good understanding of Work Based Learning programmes. You will either possess or be willing to work towards an advanced level teaching qualification (DET or equivalent) the College will support you financially to obtain this qualification.
The College has recently introduced a Working from Home policy. You may be able to work a proportion of your work time from home. Working from Home may be possible where this does not adversely impact on the operational needs of the College.
