Apprentice Administrator

Duration: Fixed term contract for up to 2 years, with a view to progression on successful completion of your apprenticeship.

Salary: National Minimum Wage for age (see below)

             16 - 20 years old = £12,656 per annum
             21 - 22 years old = £16,129 per annum
             23 years old and over = £17,190 per annum

Administrators are the backbone to any organisation. They help make things run smoothly and know how to maintain information so it can be called on to answer any department queries. As an Apprentice Administrator for our Apprenticeships and Commercial Training team, you’ll do just that; inputting and logging data, dealing with telephone queries, producing letters, ordering stationery and distributing mail, plus other administration duties as your role/apprenticeship develops.

The apprenticeship is a fixed 2 year contract, working 37 hours each week. In that time, you’ll enjoy structured training, a friendly work atmosphere, plus 30 days holiday (+ bank holidays and 5 College closure days).

Alongside GCSE A* - C / 9 - 4 in English and Maths, you’ll need great communication skills, a helpful approach and the ability to work as part of a team, plus a commitment to making sure that the work you do is of a high standard at all times.
