Hours: 37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year
We are looking for a Lecturer in Criminology who has a demonstrable knowledge of criminology and the criminal justice sector to deliver effective teaching, learning and assessment at undergraduate level across FDA to BA (Hons) Criminology and Criminal Justice degree programmes in the School of Creative, Digital and Community at Blackburn University Centre.
With programme or curriculum leadership experience, you will have excellent organisational qualities in order to lead modules and play a significant role in the general leadership and administration of the programme. Integrating practice, expertise, knowledge and research activities into curriculum development, design and implementation and engaging with industry and relevant organisations to ensure curriculum delivery that is current, agile and relevant to graduate opportunities.
With the ability to inspire learners to make connections between theory and practice you will support students completing their degree, as well as being flexible and willing to teach on other programmes within the Academic Group of Community.
