Assessor (Health)

Due to the continued expansion of our College apprenticeship provision, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Business Development Centre to support the delivery of our Health & Social Care Apprenticeships.  You will teach on our Health & Social Care apprenticeship programmes, which includes Levels 2 and 3 Health Apprenticeships, working with the NHS to deliver relevant courses ensuring the attainment of relating to enrolment, retention and timely success.

For this role you will deliver Apprenticeship standards and level 2/3 diplomas to learners on college and employer sites. These will include, Senior Health Care Support Worker, Lead Adult Care worker, Adult Care Worker and Health Care Support worker.

The ideal candidate will be required to participate in collaborative work with the relevant programme delivery team to facilitate high quality learning and timely achievement. You will have as a minimum a level 3 qualification in health and social care combined with teaching experience at Level 1-3 in Nursing or Health and Social Care related subjects. A Cert Ed or equivalent is also desirable. Experience of delivering and assessing competence-based training in the workplace and college environment is essential.  Possession of an A1 and V1 Assessor Award is desirable.
