Loughborough College are seeking an excellent problem solver to fill a new post in the Student Records and Funding team.
You will need to have a high level of IT skills, and experience of using a range of software in previous job roles. You must also be confident analysing complex data in different formats, especially Excel. This role will require the post holder to learn a wide range of technical information and funding regulations, focussing on Apprenticeships, so it’s essential that you are able to pick up new information quickly and be able to connect this all together to make appropriate decisions. The ideal candidate would have a high level of attention to detail, an enquiring mind, and the ability to self-reflect.
This role involves liaising with colleagues across a number of departments, and external stakeholders, therefore you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to explain technical information in a way that is easy to understand for a variety of audiences. The role will also require you to co-ordinate a cycle of audit sampling, which will involve delegating and tracking tasks with staff across the wider College teams.
Specific experience working in FE funding or student records would be an advantage, but it not essential for someone with the right skills.
We are proud to be working towards being an Investors in Diversity organisation. - One campus facility
- Subsided nursery fees
- Up to 25 days annual leave per year
- Additional annual leave available
- Fantastic CPD and inclusive resources for development
- Well-being hours
- Opportunities of volunteering within local community and charities
We offer a range of family friendly, inclusive employment policies, flexible working arrangements, agile working, staff forums, staff working groups for sustainability, staff steering groups for Investors in Diversity and support services to support with mental health and wellbeing for staff from different backgrounds.
We are and have consistently invested in providing our learners and employees with an outstanding and unrivalled range of modern facilities and resources.
