The Role

The HE Sport Department are actively recruiting for a Sessional Lecturer in Strength & Conditioning.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a progressive, learner focused department that places innovative teaching, learning and assessment at the forefront of their professional practice.

For this role, you will have experience of teaching undergraduate students within the area of Strength and Conditioning, with an ability to contribute towards the supervision of undergraduate dissertations in the field.  Experience and knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology as well as Research methods would be an advantage.

The role includes the delivery of formative and summative practical and written assessments.

The Applicant

You will have a commitment to student centred learning with teaching and curriculum design, underpinned by scholarly activity, research and/or experience as an applied Strength and Conditioning practitioner.

To be successful you will have a Masters and a good honours degree that are relevant to the post along with teaching experience.

An applied qualification in Strength and Conditioning is desirable.
