HCUC, a merger of Harrow College and Uxbridge College, has excellent facilities for the delivery of Building & Construction provision. We are seeking a Plumbing Lecturer to join our Technical Apprenticeship School, to teach on a range of apprenticeship Plumbing and Gas Standards programmes.  You would also co-ordinate Apprenticeship activities including maintaining records and reporting on attendance, punctuality and progress, and will also assist in the planning and development of new courses in the area.

You will be qualified to Level 3 in Plumbing or Heating and possess a full teaching qualification and Assessor qualification, or be willing to obtain them with full financial support from the College.  In addition to your industry experience in Plumbing, Heating and Renewables and a thorough knowledge of your subject area, you will need to possess at least 2 years’ teaching experience in Plumbing and Heating, including experience of teaching apprentices.

The College has recently introduced a Working from Home policy. You may be able to work a proportion of your work time from home. Working from Home may be possible where this does not adversely impact on the operational needs of the College.
