We have a great opportunity based across at either our Bedford or Kettering campuses for a Research Development Manager.

Our Research Development Manager, plays a pivotal role in the success of colleges and our students through: 

  • Leading on the development and embedding of research, alongside project managing research initiatives within The Bedford College Group (TBCG)
  • Ensuring that research practice is having a positive impact on the organisation
  • Represent TBCG externally on matters relating to research and scholarship

Our ideal candidates will possess a strong knowledge of current educational research and how this can be embedded within an organisation,

Successful applications should hold the following qualifications: 

  • Masters level qualified in a relevant discipline
  • Recognised level 5 teaching qualification

Contract Type – Bedford College

29.6 hours per week (0.8 FTE) / 52 weeks per year

35 days per annum, plus public holidays (pro rata)

Salary, circa £40,000 per annum.

An Enhanced DBS check will be required and you will be required to declare any convictions, cautions, reprimands or final warnings, which would not be filtered in line with current guidance.
