Course Leader – Apprenticeship Delivery (this is NOT an Apprenticeship position)

Full Time – 36 hours per week – Fixed Term for 18 Months

The Role:  

We are looking for an innovative Course Leader who has proven industry experience and qualifications in Customer Service, Business Administration, Libraries, Museums, Archiving and Information Management.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be involved in the planning and delivery of a range of Apprenticeship Standards from Level 2 to 7.

You will be expected to:

  • Work with the Co-ordinator and employers to draw up Schemes of work.
  • Provide high quality teaching, learning and assessment for all Apprentices.
  • Conduct regular Progress Reviews.
  • Support the Co-ordinator in the recruitment of, onboarding and sign up of Apprentices.
  • Achieve set KPI’s for employer and Apprentice engagement.
  • Support the Co-ordinator in arranging End Point Assessments for Apprentices.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of the curriculum.
  • Provide information, advice and guidance to Apprentices.
  •  Support the Apprenticeships and Employability Co-ordinator and Head of Apprenticeships to achieve the service’s strategic objectives.

About You:

  • Experience of using One File E Portfolio system is desirable.
  • Previous experience in a post 16 education environment and proven experience of delivering high quality teaching, learning and assessment is essential.
  • Assessor qualification is essential.
  • IQA qualification is essential.
