We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated member of staff to work with us as a Library and LRC Officer on a permanent basis.
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a suitably skilled and qualified Library and LRC Officer to work within our Library and LRC department. You will provide a welcoming and supportive service to all users of the Library and LRC. You will empower students on their learning journey, by directing them towards, and supporting them in the use of all Library and LRC resources and services.
Key Accountabilities:
- Welcome Library and LRC users and provide access to the full range of services available
- Support students and staff in the effective use of library resources, both in print and online formats
Essential Criteria:
- Experience of providing a high level of customer service whilst working in a varied and fast-paced environment
- Experience of working in a library environment is desirable
Please note: the successful post holder will need to pass a satisfactory PVG Scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and a Financial Check prior to commencing employment.
