The Position: We’re looking for a Full-time Uniformed Protective Services Lecturer
Requirements for the role:
- Appropriate teaching qualification (Or willing to work towards one within 2 years of appointment)
- Significant experience of working in one or more of the Public Services
- GCSE Grade C/4 in English and maths (Or willing to work towards a Level 2 Functional Skill in Literacy and Numeracy within 12 months of appointment)
Responsibilities for the role:
- Planning, preparing and delivering an informative and engaging scheme of work to educate and challenge our learners.
- Management of learning programmes and curriculum development
- Preparation of student assessments and marking of students’ work
The Location: The College is based in South Leicestershire (Wigston Campus) but will require multi-site working with regular meetings held at our Nuneaton Campus. This is a great place to live with plenty of social and sport facilities together with great transport links.

What we do
North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College (NWSLC) is a large Further Education college offering a wide range of full-time, part-time, Higher Education and Apprenticeship programmes over six campuses based within Warwickshire and Leicestershire.
The College also works with over 600 businesses across a wide range of sectors – working with organisations to determine their ‘training needs analysis’. We then design a programme to match your (the employer’s) requirements.
