The role will be hands on and the successful candidate will be part of the I.T. Leadership Team with the ability to influence and contribute to the I.T. Strategy. The role will be expected to work on projects across all aspects of I.T. including desktop, asset management, networks, Wi-Fi, server, storage, security and critical business systems. The role will also need to ensure that the Infrastructure and Service teams are operating within a solid framework that allows them to manage change and projects effectively and respond to challenges that arise in such a fast-moving environment.

This opportunity comes at an exciting time for I.T. in the College as it embarks on a project to become a digital organisation and rapidly transitions to become a data driven, cloud-based institution that can offer our students and staff an innovative environment in which to work. Alongside the drive to become a digital college the successful candidate will also be heavily involved in delivering projects at the College’s new Skills Hub based in the heart of Nottingham.

We are looking for a committed and solutions-oriented I.T. professional with experience of project management and with a strong background in working across diverse teams. The role also involves ensuring that best value procurement processes are followed to control the costs to the organisation. An individual capable of putting forward innovative solutions across the whole I.T portfolio the successful candidate will be an integral part of the I.T Leadership Team.
